Dolphins

Dolphins are sea mammals.  Their bodies can be up to 30 feet and 9 meters long.  Dolphins have flukes so they can swim.  They have a dorsal fin and 2 flippers so they can steer.  All dolphins live in salt water to keep there skin soft.

 

Most dolphins swim in warm water near the equator.  Some dolphins can be found in rivers too.  Dolphins eat fis,squid,and shrimp.  They catch food by working together.  They have sharp teeth to grab food.

 

They can jump 5 metersand 16 feet high.  There are 32 different kinds of dolphins.
